Eolophus roseicapilla

The Galah is for me one of the most iconic Australian birds. I still haven’t gotten tired of seeing them fly about in great flocks or play in a treetop. Apparently ‘Galah’ is also used as a slang for ‘fool’ or maybe ‘airhead’, which really isn’t fair on these intelligent birds.
